I'm a recovering lawyer, aspiring photographer, avid eater & cook, reader & crank.  I blog at www.shecurmudgeon.wordpress.com, tumblr under the same name, write amateur fiction under psuedonyms that are going to stay that way until I get up some gumption, and welcome your comments and questions.  After I burnt out of lawyering, I managed a Barnes & Noble for a while-- now I'm in a management position at a high-end organic grocery chain, not running around nearly so much on the floor, and using my brain a little bit more.  

The job also leaves me more time to read, since it's more regular hours than my old retail wage slave demi-management job.  What's not to love?
